Apps 4 Climate Action » Winners

The Apps 4 Climate Action contest was a winning initiative, in more ways than one.

And the winners are...

Awards for the winning apps in the Apps 4 Climate Action contest were handed out at the Vancouver Aquarium on September 16, 2010. - News Release.

The prize for Best Overall App was awarded to VELO, created by Dr. Ron Dembo (of Zerofootprint). Check out the other winners and honourable mentions below.

Additionally, the Apps 4 Climate Action initiative was also recognised as a national winner itself. The Institute of Public Administration of Canada awarded the BC public service with a silver medal in the Public Sector Leadership Awards. (Video) - News Release.
