Walk-through Energy Assessments
FortisBC's PowerSense Walk-throughs
FortisBC offers Cool Shops throughout the Okanagan and Kootenays in partnership with Terasen Gas. The program offers a free on-site energy audit, free installation of basic energy-efficient products, access to financial incentives, and tips for reducing energy consumption.
Terasen Energy Assessments
Terasen Gas offers a free energy assessment program for customers in the Lower Mainland, Squamish or Interior who spend more than $20,000 annually on natural gas.
Workshops for Small Businesses
EcoTrust Canada Climate Smart Workshops
Learn how your business can reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. Join a group of 10-15 enterprises for a workshop series run by climate change experts experienced in advising small and medium-sized businesses and organizations.
Natural Resources Canada Dollars to $ense Energy Management Workshops
These workshops assist small business owners with opportunities to develop new, cost-saving energy management solutions.

LiveSmart BC Climate Smart Contest
LiveSmart BC is hosting a contest for 20 scholarships for Ecotrust Canada's Climate Smart program. Winners will join a group of 10-15 enterprises for workshop series run by climate change experts experienced in advising small and medium-sized businesses and organizations.
Videoconferencing for Small Businesses
Small Business BC and the provincial government offer a video conferencing network service for small businesses across B.C. with sites available at FrontCounter BC and Community Futures offices.
BC Hydro's Product Incentive Program
This program offers financial incentives for BC Hydro commercial customers to replace inefficient technologies with energy-efficient products.

Matthew Mepham and Kyle Goulet created Community Composting in 2006 with a vision to reduce organic material entering landfills. For a monthly fee, the Victoria-based company exchanges customer-collected compostable waste with a 20 litre bag of composted soil.
