Walk-throughs & Energy Assessments
  • FortisBC PowerSense Walk-throughs
    Qualified customers can take advantage of a free walk-through energy audit conducted by a qualified technical advisor to identify where conservation opportunities exist. If required, Fortis BC will also fund up to 50 percent, to a maximum of $5,000, of an approved consultant's fee to conduct a comprehensive energy study.

  • Fortis Natural Gas Energy Assessments
    Fortis Natural Gas offers a free energy assessment program for customers in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Squamish or the Interior who consume more than 2,000 GJ/year on natural gas.

  • EcoTrust Canada Climate Smart Workshops
    Learn how your business can reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. Join a group of 10-15 enterprises for a workshop series run by climate change experts experienced in advising small and medium-sized businesses and organizations.

  • BC Hydro Product Incentive Program
    This program offers financial incentives for BC Hydro commercial customers to replace inefficient technologies with energy-efficient products.

  • ecoENERGY Retrofit Incentive Program
    Natural Resources Canada's ecoENERGY Retrofit Incentive program provides financial support to owners of small and medium-sized buildings in the commercial and institutional sectors. The program helps these sectors implement energy saving projects that reduce energy-related greenhouse gases (GHGs) and air pollution, thereby contributing to a cleaner environment for all Canadians.

  • Captial Regional District Cooling Equipment Rebates
    Using water for once-through cooling operations can waste thousands of dollars per year. The CRD offers rebates of $1,200 per ton to eliminate once-through cooled condensers and $2,400 per ton to eliminate once-through cooled ice makers; up to a maximum of $5,000 per account.

    The Province has established the $25 million Innovative Clean Energy (ICE) Fund to help promising clean power technology projects succeed. The ICE Fund will help make British Columbia a world leader in alternative energy and power technology.
