Information for Vendors

The current list of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations that are eligible for the rebate can be found here.  The current list is not an endorsement list, nor is it exhaustive.  Instead, it is intended to provide BC residents with the tools to make informed decisions when purchasing residential EV charging stations.  The following mandatory requirements must be met for an electric vehicle charging station to be eligible for the rebate:

  • Eligible EV charging stations limited to RESIDENTIAL applications. (Commercial EV charging stations are not eligible.)
  • Residential EV charging stations must be CSA or cUL certified.
  • Residential EV charging stations must be SAE J1772 certified.
  • Residential EV charging stations must have nominal voltage rating of 240 V (Level 2 EVSE).
  • Residential EV charging stations must be available for purchase in Canada.

If you have a product that you believe may be eligible under the program and is not currently included on the list, please fill in this form and return to the address on the form.  Your application will be reviewed and, if eligible, your product will be added to the list.

Please note that although bi-directional user / grid communications capabilities are not a mandatory requirement at this time, this criteria may be considered in the future.
