Public Sector Energy Conservation Agreement (PSECA)
B.C.’s public sector plays a key role in helping British Columbians become leaders in conservation and energy efficiency.
The Public Sector Energy Conservation Agreement (PSECA) between BC Hydro and the Government of B.C. funds building retrofits to reduce provincial energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Through PSECA, B.C. is targeting a 20 per cent reduction in public sector electricity consumption by 2020 – enough electricity savings to power more than 34,000 homes.
Public buildings around the province are undergoing energy assessments to identify opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve energy and introduce alternative energy options.

PSECA Funding
Updated April 6, 2009
All projects submitted during the October 2008 intake session have been reviewed. Successful applicants are being notified by their respective ministry. Future funding opportunities will be published on this website and past applicants and interested parties will be notified directly. If you are not currently registered with the PSECA program, please contact PSECA Administration.
Requests for PSECA funding exceed available resources. Decisions are based on the relative competitiveness of proposals, which ensures funding goes to projects that represent the best use of taxpayer funds.
